ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

The City of Mattoon Public Works Department is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant position at the Public Works Department. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for the Street/Utility Department. Responsibilities include; time keeping, billing, bills payable, purchasing, and insurance claims. The position assists in the preparation of press releases, work orders, and price quote requests. Strong computer and organizational skills are required. Proficient use of Word, Excel, and Adobe is required. Clerical/office experience is required.
