 Mattoon July 18th
 
It is Bagelfest week... when so much work and planning comes to life. Thank you to the many volunteers, staff, and sponsors that make this possible.

As the tourism director I am in the fortunate position to see the best of what this community is and does. Bagelfest is just one example of why this community is special.

Below you will find the complete schedule of this week's events. Have a fun week at Bagelfest 2012.

   Bagelfest Tuesday July 17th
  •  Miss Bagelfest being held at Williams School at 7pm
 


 Bagelfest Wednesday July 18th
  •  Bagel Baby Contest at the Cross County Mall at 6pm
  • Bagelfest Carnival opens at Peterson Park, 6pm with armband night from 6-10pm
 


 Bagelfest Thursday July 19th
  • Mattoon Pride Bagelfest Tourney, Roundhouse complex, www.mattoonpride.com for full schedule
  • Carnival and Vendors open from 5-11pm
  • Gospel Music by Eagle's Wings, Rotary Band Shell 5-6pm, free concert 
  • Bingo at the Demar's Center 6-9pm
  • Christian Comedian Jeremy Nunes on the main stage 7:30-8pm
  • Sixteen Cities on the Main Stage 8pm.  This is a free concert, with donations being taken for One Stop Community Christmas
 


 Bagelfest Friday July 20th
  •  Mattoon Pride Bagelfest Tourney, Roundhouse complex, www.mattoonpride.com for full schedule
  • Carnival opens at 1pm
  • Vendors open from noon-10pm
  • Bingo at the Demar's Center 6-9pm
  • Hip Hop/R & B Showcase in the Rotary Band Shell 5-6pm
  • Beer Tent open at 5pm with Superbad on stage from 7-11:30
  • Resonation Station on the Bagelfest concourse from 6-7:30pm, near Grimes Field 
  • Local Showcase on the Main Stage at 8pm with Taylor Wagner, Muddy Grove, and Suede, Tickets are $5 for General admission.
 


 Bagelfest Saturday July 21st
  •  Mattoon Pride Bagelfest Tourney, Roundhouse complex for full schedule that runs through the 22nd, www.mattoonpride.com 
  • Run for the Bagel 7am
  • World's Biggest Free Bagel Breakfast in the Demar's Center from 8-10am
  • Dragonflies showcase in the Rotary Band Shell from 8-10am
  • Bagelfest Parade 10:30am
  • Bingo at the Demar's Center 1-7pm
  • Bagel Bow Wow dog contest in the Rotary Band Shell at 2pm
  • Carnival opens at 11am
  • Vendors open 8am-10pm
  • Beer Tent opens at 5pm with music from BackFlash performing from 7-11:30pm
  • Ronnie Milsap on the Main Stage 8pm, tickets are $15 for reserved seating and $10 for lawn seating.
