Handbill Permit

After securing a Handbill Permit a person may distribute to the public, by leaving at stores with consent of the owners, or residences any cards, circulars, handbills, samples of merchandise, or any other advertising matter.

All permits are subject to compliance with Chapter 111 of the City of Mattoon Municipal Code.

Before the first date of distribution, complete the Handbill License Application and return to the City Clerk's Office with appropriate payment.
