Fall Tree Planting Update

Planting time is almost here! The City is preparing for our fall tree planting program, with planting currently expected to begin the week of November 16th.

City staff are finishing the process of identifying and marking planting locations for residents who requested trees before the September 11th deadline.

If you requested a tree and have not yet confirmed a planting location with us, please contact the City as soon as possible.

Before planting begins:

A wooden stake will be placed at the planned planting location and marked with the tree variety.
A J.U.L.I.E. utility locate will be requested for the area.
Applicable underground utilities will be marked before planting.
- Please note that private water and sewer service lines are not included in these markings.

Trees are now being prepared for planting, and we’re looking forward to adding more trees throughout our community this fall!
