Broadway Ave. Roadwork Update

Howell Paving will start milling on Broadway this Wednesday, June 17th, around 6:30 am.  They will begin by milling everything between 21st Street and 19th Street.  When this section is completed, they will move across 19th Street and begin moving east towards 14th Street.  Milling operations might be completed on Wednesday but could go into Thursday.  The resurfacing portion of the project will follow the milling and will take a couple of days to complete.  They will also be milling and resurfacing the radius returns on side streets during this time.

Motorists should not park along Broadway if at all possible while this work is ongoing and instead park on side streets or in parking lots in the area.  Only the asphalt paved areas will be milled and resurfaced.  No concrete paved areas will be milled and resurfaced with this project.

All work associated with this project is subject to weather.  Weather cooperating the milling and resurfacing should be completed in 4 to 5 days.  Pavement markings will follow approximately 10 to 14 days later.
