The City of Mattoon Parks Department has an opening for a part-time summer position. $16/hour; approximately 20-30 hours a week. Job responsibilities include caring for the downtown landscaping, Heritage Park and Wolf Parks, weeding, planting flowers, trimming bushes and trees, mowing, trash pick up, clean and stock restrooms, assist opening restrooms on weekends, maintenance & upkeep as required. WWTP OPERATOR - CITY OF MATTOON The City of Mattoon is accepting applications for an operator at our Wastewater Treatment Plant. The open shift is Wednesday thru Saturday (4 ea 10 hrs/day, 7A to 5P). The position is open to entry-level candidates and experienced operators. An educational background in biology or chemistry is a plus. Mechanical aptitude is required.
