The Finance Director plans, evaluates and directs departmental policies, programs and operations related to the financial and budgetary activities of city government. The Finance Director directs the Treasury collection activity and custody of public funds. Oversees the investment of city funds and the payment of bond obligations, including the investment of excess cash to obtain the best return. The Finance Director serves as financial advisor to the City Administrator and City Council.
